Worst Lyrics of 2009 so far...
Bell X1's awfully shitty 'Great Defector'
great name for a terribly written rustbucket
of a song that sounds like Christy Moore farted out
Just for the line
"The people from the mobile phone company
Say who gets to play and who gets to not"
And he pronounced mobile like a yank 'mo-bill'-
tossers.

Dirtbombs in Dublin?
Last night the Dirtbombs played Whelan's here in Dublin, believe it or not!
I certainly didn't! Their first ever headlining gig in Ireland, and their first show here at all since supporting the White Stripes at Dublin Castle in 2002.
Great to catch up with the guys.
The crowd were really into it and they put on a really great show!
Oh and Billy Childish and the MBE's are here in Jan!
Wahey!
